I have been working at Oracle for over 20 years, currently at North America Cloud Engineering. I was one of the very first employee representatives in both OR and CPBW. In those 20 years, the company has changed enormously, we work much more remotely, and self-service is now the norm for everything. Despite all the changes, we still managed to improve and safeguard the employees' rights as much as possible. We have done this with a good social plan in case of dismissal, good working time arrangements,..... As I'm sure you know, nothing lasts forever, and we need to keep our finger on the puls of employee representation to make sure we don't deteriorate together. That's why I'm asking for another 4 years of your trust to be able to continue our work. .

With 24 years at Oracle I know the ins and outs of the company. As pre-sales I come into contact with a lot of people and I hear a lot of questions, needs, frustrations. We raise these with the employer and try to turn them into solutions. I'm always ready for an open conversation, I used to be a confidant too. In this way, I have been working on behalf of my colleagues for more than 16 years and I also represent the Belgian position in the European Works Council. I'm not alone of course: with our team PULS (former ACV/LBC list) we have managed to get many benefits: e.g. ora club, company cars, extra budget restaurant, dismissal CLA, increased meal cheques and much more. We don't stand for empty promises, we do what we say and go for it. We are really needed. Vote on list 2. Thank you. .

With 15 years at Sun Microsystems and 10 years being 'integrated' at Oracle, as Systems Sales, I have 25 years of seniority and 12 years of presence on the Works Council and the Committee. Faced with multiple reorganizations, I still do not understand this way to fire without hesitation valuable and (too) skilled people based on an economic logic often opaque and especially short term. Fortunately, thanks to the plan negotiated and obtained by our group, the financial conditions of these departures are very favorable, but is it sufficient? No one at Oracle feels safe anymore. However, the last few months have once again shown to what extent any employer has an interest in reassuring and keeping employees motivated and cultivating their sense of belonging. Whether you are like me, a member of a linguistic minority or not, I invite you to support a solid and very experienced team, which protects your rights and takes care of concerns and well-being of employees before all. .

I have fulfilled various roles within Oracle for 23 years in which the customers, partners and colleagues are always central. Developing a relationship of trust is the most important thing in mapping out needs and objectives. I have used this experience over the last 4 years as a guideline to offer a listening ear and to pursue concrete solutions. The drive and professionalism within the ACV-Puls team have led me to play an active role within the OR. The close and balanced group wants to play a strong role in constructively defending our interests. In order to further improve transparency and communication, we have developed a number of new initiatives that enable us to map out your insights/needs regarding homework and remuneration. I would like to welcome you for a (virtual) alignment in a positive atmosphere. Stay tuned ... .

During my first stay at Oracle I had several responsibilities within the support organization. For a moment I was outside of the company, but I am working a role within the A&C ISV team for almost 3 years now. So I have seen several departments throughout the organization and because of that I can make a better judgment on certain matters, taking into account different points of view. In the current period of a pandemic, a period that none of our generation has had to experience befor and will hopefully never experience again, there are many challenges. I'm ready for facing these challenges and always willing to listen to everyone, with a smile..

With more than 10 years at Oracle, this is my first active participation in the elections. Our company has been in a transformation phase for several years now, and the current Covid-19 pandemic makes this transformation even more difficult, turbulent and complex. Nothing seems the same anymore ... more homework, more self-service, and the perception of having to be 'always-on' ... seem like the new standard for everything. But what about our 'well being'? I want to commit myself to support/help colleagues to go through this transformation together to safeguard and improve our well-being by making solid agreements with management (now and in the future). That is why I ask for your trust and vote to represent you on the works council and fight for our common well-being. .

As a youngster within the team, I would like to use the positive customer-focused experiences from the NetSuite acquisition to focus mainly on process optimizations and to make customer references even more visible. The efficient interactions with customers and with the team to push the boundaries has led to amazing results. I would like to set new standards and achieve the highest achievable ambitions for you. I am at your disposal to 'zoom' on your story..
Diane Wuyckens
My name is Diane Wuyckens and I have been working for Oracle for over 15 years. In these unrealistic times we have to focus more than ever on a good work-life balance, pay attention to psychosocial risks for employees, keep working on a good and collegial work atmosphere, less stress and so much more. Are these topics also high on your wish list? Use your VOICE, choose for me and make the difference! ACV is of course more than this...take a look at www.stemacv.be and convince yourself! Are you curious and would you like to know more about me? - I love to travel, both with my backpack and in style - I share the house with my husband and 4 enthusiastic teenagers - There are also rabbits, guinea pigs, a long-haired cat and a horse walking around....so yes I am a great animal lover too. - I love laughing and socializing with friends - Walking and cycling give me a boost - And for the rest...talk to me and just ask... Together with the ACV I defend your interests! .

I started at Oracle 23 years ago with database support. I have continued to help customers now for several years in the role of service delivery manager at ACS. I am still a support man at heart. Preferably what I do is listen and contribute to a good solution. That is what I especially want to do for my colleagues and the LBC team. I know that I can always turn to the LBC team whenever one of my colleagues has questions. That is how I do my bit. You are always welcome for a conversation, and no question is too much. I also have to admit that 23 years ago, I didn't really think about it, but I notice that as I get older, I become more vulnerable as well. Suppose I am ill for a long time? Or suppose I lose my job? Fortunately, the founding fathers of LBC, Jan, and Johan, in Oracle BE, have always worked hard to create a good social climate because nothing is acquired forever. That the LBC team keeps its finger on the puls is something for which my family and I are very grateful to LBC. Because in these times of a lot of uncertainty due to COVID-19, a good social climate is crucial. Knowing that strong people are fighting for my job behind the scenes gives me peace of mind. Your vote, for me, also means a vote for the whole team..

I have been working for Oracle for more than 22 years as a consultant. Most of my time, I am on-site at the client, and I know the consultant's problems. I want to be a point of contact for them and represent them at the OR or CPWB..
Peter Van De Veire
My name is Peter. I’m an Oracle employee for almost 25 years, and in that time I’ve been part of multiple departments. I’ve been active as a Salesrep, as a Consultant, as a Sales Consultant and even as a Product Developer. The last 10+ years I have been active in Customer Success. During all those years I have witnessed where things go smoothly, and where things go south every once in a while. I too have been a witness/subject of the many re-orgs that our dynamic employer pushes on to its people. I believe it is crucial that the employee representatives monitor very closely if these re-orgs happen in a fair and correct fashion. It is essential that we feel comfortable in our position, and that we do not live in constant fear with regard to job security. .
Guido Tijskens
Since June 1992, I am an Oracle employee. Initially, I joined the Oracle Support organization, through various departments arrived in the open-source development group. As a 100% office worker (until March 13, 2020), I have seen many things change, not always in favor of a comfortable and efficient work environment. After all those years on the sidelines, now is the time to influence the evolution of the office environment in the right way.
Bob Vangeel
After more then 30 years working at Oracle ,during which I had very good contacts with the people from the ACV Puls team, and very often had discussions with them, I decided it was about time to come forward and start working to improve the well being of the employees at Oracle but also try to improve the overall impression Oracle is making on the employment market . Oracle Belgium always has been a good place to work and my aim is to make it even better. .
Patrick Leyendeckers
My motivation to stand for election is that I want to actively participate in all developments related to all employees' well-being and interests. Since 2008 I have been employed at Oracle in the TSBU in various roles in Sales, Sales Management, and Business Development. An interim period at Microsoft has also given me insights into corporate culture and operations. .
Sabine Provost
My name is Sabine Provost. After 5 years at Sun Microsystems en now 10 years Oracle as Premier Support Services sales, I recently joined the team. The reason why I joined the team is that I would like to help people in these uncertain times as well as economic as sanitary. Give your vote to a dynamic and enthousiastic team ready to help you in any circumstances..
Philippe Vanhaesendonck
Of the thirty years that I have been with Oracle, I have mainly worked within international teams for the last twenty. This has often forced me to look for solutions to improve working conditions and maintain a good working atmosphere both at work and teleworking. I want to use the experience I have built up to address the people who work in such working conditions. Teleworking is an important fact for each of us, but the importance of contact with colleagues on the work floor should not be underestimated. Working separately should certainly not become working in isolation! .
